Anupam Kher confirmed Rishi Kapoor’s return to India and said that he is happy and sad at the same time. Actor Anupam Kher has confirmed Rishi Kapoor and spouse Neetu Singh’s return to India because he desired the celebrity couple a joyful journey on Twitter. Anupam, who’s now stationed in New York and sometimes joined the Kapoors for lunches and dinners, wrote a brief note on the social networking website.
This is wishing you a safe trip back to India after being in New York for nearly a year. I’ve mixed feelings. I’m happy & sad at the same time. I will miss you terribly. We had an excellent time together. Thank you. Rishi was undergoing treatment for cancer in america.
A day earlier, Rishi wanted veteran singer Asha Bhosle on her birthday by sharing a throwback picture from a party. He wrote,”Many happy returns of this day dear @ashabhosle ji. Remember celebrating your birthday in Pancham’s terrace. Back shortly will come and meet.
The singer responded to the celebrity,”You wanted me over the telephone last year when you’re getting your hair & makeup done for a picture. We talked about you coming home for a meal. Since then you have been in USA & I have been thinking when are you going to be back. Sorry!”
Anupam had united Rishi for his birthday dinner on September 4. He had even shared a video of him waving goodbye to him and Neetu as both boarded a cab in the Big Apple.
Rishi had previously hinted about his return to India through the Ganpati parties in an interview to Mid-Day. He stated,”Celebrating Ganpati is a family tradition. So, I hope to be a part of it.”
